Keynote speaker Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada Brewing Company will kick off a full day of education in maintaining draught beer quality, with panel discussions and four hands-on breakout sessions. Workshop topics will focus on the retail environment, emphasizing draught system cleaning and design, proper dispense gas selection, proper pouring and potential pitfalls. Participants will explore the effects of real-world decisions made at retail on draught beer. The decisions made by draught beer system suppliers and installers, wholesalers and retailer employees and of course brewers can dramatically affect the draught beer which consumers receive.
Fee includes bus transportation between Denver & Golden, all learning materials, lunch, plus admission to the Thursday evening session of the GABF (first 100 registrants). Attendees will receive the Draught Beer Quality Manual, and a Draught Beer Quality Workshop Certificate of Completion.
